Ingredients
2lbs Ground Venison
1 egg
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup diced onion
2 tablespoons diced garlic
2 tablespoons Italian Seasoning
Olive Oil
Marinara sauce
Sub rolls
Mozzarella
Instructions
Mix venison, egg, panko, milk, onion, garlic, and seasoning well. Form mixture into 1″ balls and place in hot skillet coated with olive oil. Do not overcrowd. Brown on all sides.
Add 1 jar of Marina Sauce of your preference. Put lid on and reduce heat to medium and steam until cooked through, about 20 min.
Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cut the tops out of (3) Demi Loaves and scoop out bread forming a hole. Spoon meatballs in and cover with mozzarella cheese.
Bake for about 15min. or until the cheese is browned and bread is toasted.
