
Ingredients
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheese
1/2 cup quick oats
1/2 cup chopped onion
salt & pepper
1 pound elk/venison
2/3 cup ketchup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon mustard
Instructions
- In bowl whisk egg and milk. Stir in cheese, oats, onion and salt & pepper. Mix. Add elk/venison and mix well. Shape into 8 loaves. Place in a greased 9×13 pan.
- In small bowl combine ketchup, brown sugar & mustard. Mix. Spoon a tablespoon or so over the meat loaves. Rest of sauce can be heated and served with meal.
- Bake loaves uncovered at 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes or meat thermometer reads 160
